Some pictures from Day 4:
(We in Cancun!)
This is me on the beach, at Cancun.
I'm just happy to be there!
It was sucha beautiful, hot, sunny day. I was so happy to finally be on the bach in Cancun!!!!
I wanted to do so much (in so little time).
First thing was...
... go for a swim!!!!
(partly influenced by the fact that several rather young and rather fit and rather
fandabbytastic ladies were already bouncing around in the water, I must admit).
p.s. I don't recommend doing what I did next: which was to try to somersault into the incoming surf. At least if you do, please take the time to check how deep the water is and how high and energetic the waves are that are coming in. Aslo, please try to time it so that you land as the wave comes in, not going out. - I didn't. Approximately 30 seconds later, I dragged my sorry, soaked and sand laden ass up onto the beach to gasp some oxygen into my parched lungs and recover what little pride I had left. I didn't know that sand could get into so many places...
(Somehow - don't ask me how, but somehow I kept getting washed by the current towards groups of bikini-clad ladies. I even felt a tendency for the powerful riptides to drag me across the paths of particularly buxomed beauties, who displayed a particular propensity to blossom out of their bathing receptacles. Of course, I struggled to fight this evil current, but alas, I am not superman. I'm just a simple human being. I found myself, time and time again, being washed into the paths of such tempresses (try as I might to prevent it). Such was my dispair that I found I couldn't easily leave the clutches of the surf. It held me in its evil clutches for quite some time - or at least until the girls left the water and went to the bar for a drink.)
