Braying as loud as he could the donkey kicked the

closest robber. The dog bit one robber on the leg.

The rooster pecked at another, and the cat

scratched the hand of the biggest robber. The

robbers ran out the door as fast as they could. They did not know what had happened. The

robbers thought it was a goblin or evil spirits. The four animals were hungry and tired. They

all sat down to eat and drink. The animals found places to sleep in the house. The cat curled

up on the fireplace. The donkey laid down by the window. The dog fell asleep by the door and

the rooster found a perch and fell fast asleep.
