to the Jedi Republic!
The Jedi Republic is a member of the
Galactic Civilizations Metaverse and a leading power in the galaxy. We are an ever-growing group of
"GalCiv" players who believe in the equal rights of players to
participate, regardless of point submission or skill.
GalCiv is a turn-based "4X" space strategy
game. Although the game is single-player, it permits the
on-line submission of scores and strategies from
completed games to the Metaverse, an on-line database
that provides a worldwide ranking system. The Metaverse
is fully supported with a bulletin-board Forum, chat
room system and player-designed mods. Players can take
their participation further by joining an Empire, which
allows for pooling of their Metaverse Points to compete
as a group and enjoy trading stories and strategies with
friends with similar interests. The Jedi Republic is
such an empire.
