A few new mods have been added to the website
today, courtesy of author Jedi Captain
Mayito7777. You can download them on the Mods
page.
Meanwhile, a bug on this page was fixed which
prevented downloading of Grand Admiral
Sherbert's Jedi Council government mod. The file
can now be downloaded - sorry about the delay.

Alex Ascendant!
Yet another Super Star Destroyer crashes through
the ceiling of the Jedi Temple. Alex Robertson
has joined the Jedi as "Alex
Ascendant." Alex, you've been added to the Active Jedi List
page.
The Jedi's latest converts have caused an
unexpected boom in the starship hull paint
market, as three Ascended Jedi and two Chosen
Ones (Chosen Two?) have joined the ranks in the
last few weeks. A LOT of paint is necessary to
cover the huge maple leaves, kangaroo portraits,
etc. on our newcomer's ships...

Welcome
to the Jedi Republic, Cotal - a.k.a. "Amidala!"
Another new recruit today, and this one's a
biggie. Cotal, formerly of ANZAC, formerly of
FOTR, and formerly (again) of ANZAC, has joined
the Jedi Republic as "Amidala." Naturally, this has led
to a SLIGHT shifting of the Metaverse Empire
rankings, as you can see here.

Fleet of the Republic established!
Tired of taking on single foes with your
lightsaber? Try starship combat instead. Admiral
Sherbert is looking for recruits for the Grand
Fleet of the Republic (a.k.a. the Imperial
Fleet). Membership in this purely voluntary
organization is open to all Jedi in good
standing, subject to his approval. You can check
out the current roster here.

Republic Constitution ratified!
After a bit of debate, the Jedi Republic
Constitution has been posted in the Jedi
Legends section. Yoda is currently working
on a Bill of Rights. If you have any comments or
suggestions for the Bill of Rights, just post

Republic Communications thread on the GalCiv
forums.

Despite the election of two Sith to the
Council, FunkyFlyBilly has apparently
chosen the path of light and has moved
from the Sith to the Jedi ranks. Time
will tell if KEmperor and numbtenor21
can "convince" him to return
to his original path...

Senate
winners confirmed!
After a slight recount delay, the Jedi Republic
welcomes its newest Senators: KEmperor, Admiral
Sherbert, numbtenor21 and Berserk. Despite
protests from Berserk74 that he had not
nominated himself, a short, cackling green
figure was spotted gleefully piling Senate
paperwork outside the door to Berserk's
quarters. Congratulations to all of the winners.

After an extended hiatus by the Jedi webmaster,
quite a few changes have been implemented to the
website. First, we (belatedly) welcome our two
newest members, Berserk74 and Jason Stenock.

In addition, some recent promotions have made a
few more members eligible for custom lightsaber
handles and colors. The "standard"
saber has been changed to give Qui-Gon a bit of
recognition for his ongoing and outstanding
service to the Jedi Republic. A few others have

Master rank.

upcoming Galactic Civilizations expansion

Bakka
sighted at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant!
The famous (infamous?) adventurer bat, Bakka,
was recently sighted visiting the Jedi Council.
Formerly of Freedom Force and ANZAC, Bakka is a
familiar visitor to many threads on the
Metaverse, but the purpose of his visit with the
Jedi remains open for speculation at this time.
Nevertheless, all reports show that the meeting
was a cordial one.
