A More Excellent Way, Inc. (AWay, Inc.) is and urban Christian ministry which promotes and encourges individuals to enter into, engage in and maintain spiritually and personally healthy relationships with others in the home, school, workplace, neighborhood and places of worship toward the elimination of violence.

AWay, Inc works to raise awareness, provide educational opportunities and form partnerships in this fight against relationship violence.

The 2nd annual conference, A Conversation on Love: Preventing Relationship Violence sponsored by AWay, Inc. will engage faith leaders, christian educators, lay persons and advocates in a discussion on the perpetuation and sanctioning of violence, the eradication and arrest of violence and the formation of partnerships in a new community of love.

The 3rd Annual Sisters4Life~The Rosmari Pleasure Memorial 5K Walk/Run continues to raise awareness and will sponsor the Very Special People (VSP) Scholarship to assist individuals who step away from violent relationships to pursue and further their education. The scholarship is named in honor of three young women, Deeta Rose Venson, Wylea Estee Smith, and Rosmari Pleasure, all lost too soon by relationship violence.

Our first VSP scholarship was awarded this past Summer to DeShon Brown at LeMoyne Owen College.
