Italy - Canals, Lakes and the Sea:  May 1 to May 14, 2004:

Primavera  - springtime in Italy! Be part of an Avanti Premier Tour during the most favorable season of the year. This tour was designed to pleasure you with a cross section of an unbelievable patchwork of history, scenery, and cuisine that makes Italy so unique. Between the bookends of Rome and Venice experience a scenic adventure on the cliffs of the Ligurian Sea, bask in the Alpine sun of Lake Como, listen to the music of the Venetian canals, and give in to the tranquility of the Tuscan hill towns!

Visit: Rome, Orvieto, Pienza, Villa Banfi, San Gimignano, Mt. Amiata, Massa Marittima, Volterra, Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Murano, Burano, and Venice.

Austria and Northern Italy - An Alpine Adventure:  June 21 to July 3, 2004:

Another premier tour that combines the best of two enchanting countries: Austria and Italy. Stroll the cobbled streets of Vienna and Salzburg then traverse the Alps and pursue a course that leads us to Italy and the towering Dolomites. After a few days of leisure on the beach of the Adriatic Sea and the canals of Venice, pamper yourself on the shores of the Alpine-rimmed Lake Como.

Visit: Vienna, Salzburg, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Murano,

Burano, Venice, Lake Como, and Bellagio.

A Taste of Italy:  Sept. 20 to Oct. 2, 2004:

This was the premier tour of Avanti in 2000 and has been refined by successive groups of happy travelers.
