LARGING IT IN LONDON! I lived in London for a period of 18 months, set off in April 2000 and it was like one big party after I stepped off the plane (seriously! there was a party going on when I got to the flat from the airport, not bad ay) OK
so I bagged the shit out of London when I was there (too bloody cold,
whinging poms etc etc) I really did love living there (I wouldn't of stayed
otherwise) and now I miss it all so much - the pubs especially!!

I worked for a period of 18 months, mainly for a large engineering company, but I also had temp jobs at MTV, Estee Lauder, the Evening Standard newspaper and Virgin radio, it was pretty cool. Right - Liz and Michelle at the pub (where else would they be?!?) |

I lived firstly in Paddington, then moved west to Acton (where all the other Aussies and Kiwis live), then to Archway (north London) which was probably the best out of the lot (Paddington holds fond memories though!). | |
