Chandler Bing is the wise-cracking husband of Monica. He used to live across the hall with Joey. He was Ross's college roommate. He finally got out of his boring processing job and began a new career in advertising.

Chandler's father left his mother on Thanksgiving for another man when he was 7. Charles Bing finally made his first (and only) appearance on the show for Chandler's wedding.

Chandler's main goal in life was to find the right woman. There always seemed to be something wrong with them. One of his recurring ex-girlfriends is Janice who first appeared as an already ex-girlfriend. Their flings are usually brief, but one got pretty serious. She last showed up looking to buy the house next-door to Chandler and Monica's new home. Chandler once convinced her that he was moving to Yemen. He ultimately got rid of her by making her believe he wanted to have an affair with her.

Another serious girlfriend was Kathy, who dated Joey first. She fell for Chandler and they dated until he became convinced she was dating an actor in her play and they broke up.

His last love interest is Monica. They first got together at Ross's Wedding and decided to keep the relationship a secret, until Joey found out. He kept it quiet until everyone else found out. After that, their relationship continued to grow more and more serious. They survived Chandler’s fear of commitment and Monica’s obsessiveness. After two years of dating, they got engaged and married the following year. After one year of marriage, they decided to try for a baby. When they had no luck in nearly a year, they visited a fertility clinic and discovered they're not able to conceive. They decided to pursue adoption. A pregnant woman in Ohio chose them. Chandler became a father of fraternal twins Jack and Erica Bing in the final episode.

Did you know Chandler once had an eccentric roommate named Eddie and loves Baywatch?
