ARCEE, SPRINGER AND BLURR ARCEE, BLURR, AND SPRINGER
These three Autobots made their first appearnce during the chaos of the Autobot City Massacre of 2005.

ARCEE

Arcee is a female Autobot, presumed to be the last of her kind. When the Decepticons took complete control of Cybertron, is is assumed that they killed Elita-1 and her team of female Autobots (first seen in "The Search For Alpha Trion"), and Arcee was the only survivor, and was amassed into the Autobot ranks. During her first appearance in the Autobot City Massacre, she and Springer were the ones who transformed the city to battle station mode. With Spike Witwicky on Moonbase Two, she was the one who took care of his son Daniel Witwicky. There was also some apparant sexual tension between her and Hot Rod, indicating that perhaps the two were something of an item at the time. Arcee was amongst those who boarded the shuttle that wound up on Junkion. When the Decepticons attacked during the boarding, Springer saved Arcee from the Decepticons and hauled her into the shuttle. Arcee also travelled inside Unicron, and was the one who fired the shot that ruptured Unicron's coolant system, resulting in the flash flood that swept Daniel Witwicky away from the others, allowing him to find and free his father and several other Autobots.
Arcee transforms into a futuristic sports car. Whether the design is Cybertronian of Futuristic Earthen is unknown. She was no apparent abilities in this mode, but in robot mode, she is a skilled and deadly fighter, as powerful as many of her male Autobot comrades, some even moreso. She is armed with a standard blaster.
Whatever the connection between Arcee and Hot Rod, romantic or not, it was lost when Hot Rod became Rodimus Prime. Throughout 2006, Arcee was depicted as being in a relationship of some form with Springer, presumably because he saved her during the shuttle launch, and all she and Hot Rod ever seemed to do was fight. She also shared a very close bond with Daniel Witwicky. Her feelings towards him were unclear - they could very well have been, of all things, love - but whatever they were, Daniel shared them. Arcee was amongst the Autobots who traveled to Nebulos, but instead of being bonded to a Nebulan, she insisted that Daniel became her HeadMaster partner. Daniel had been injured during an earlier battle, and Arcee hoped that the process would save his life, which it did. Arcee then returned to Cybertron and bore witness to the restoration of it's Golden Age.
It is unclear how long Arcee lived on after this (although this event more than likely did NOT mark the end of the Great War), but it seems that she had a long and illustrious career. Daniel Witwicky's fate is unknown, but Arcee is presumed to be active or only recently deceased at the time of the Beast Wars, as she has been revealed to be the great-aunt of the Maximal, Rattrap. Some reports indicate there is also some form of connection between Kup and Rattrap, but details are unknown. Any connection between Arcee and Kup is similarly unknown.

BLURR

The fastest Autobot, whether walking, talking or in vehicle mode, Blurr is hyperactive and jumpy at the best of times. He made his first appearance during the Autobot City Massacre, helping his fellow Autobots battle the Decepticons, as per Ultra Magnus's command.
Blurr transforms into a hovercar, literally a futuristic sports car without wheels which hovers above the ground on a cushion of air. It is unknown if the design is from Cybertron or Earth in 2005. Blurr is armed with a standard blaster in robot mode. He can move in both modes at incredible speeds, so much so that he appears as a blur to those watching him, hence his name. His speech is also accelerated to a great deal, making it difficult for others to understand him at the best of times. He often finds himself going off at tangents. It's possible he might suffer from attention deficit disorder.
Blurr was among those Autobots who wound up on the planet Junkion while fleeing from the Decepticons. He and Perceptor were repairing the shuttle when Decepticons attacked and destroyed it. The Decepticons subsequenty killed Ultra Magnus. After the Decepticons left, with the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, Blurr and the others found themselves in combat with the planet's natives, the Junkions, who were angered that the Autobots had been using their junk to try and repair the shuttle. The arrival of Hot Rod, Kup, and the Dinobots halted the battle long enough for Hot Rod to make peace with the Junkions using the Universal Greeting. The Junkions repaired Ultra Magnus, and they all headed for Cybertron to stop Unicron from devouring the planet. Blurr was one of those who voyaged inside the planet-eater.
In 2006, as the Autobots recovered from Unicron's defeat, they rebuilt the shattered ruins of Autobot City in a giant transformer known as Metroplex. Blurr was sent on a mission with Wheelie and Sky Lynx to Earth, to collect the transformation cog for Metroplex from Marissa Fairbourne, head of Earth Defense Command. While they were absent, the Quintessons attacked the Autobots at the Galactic Games, and took some of them back to their home planet of Quintessa, which Hot Rod had been stranded on while the others were on Junkion. Quintessa was destroyed as the Quintessons detonated it to try and destroy Rodimus Prime. At the same time, the massive, fully functional, transforming Decepticon city of Trypticon attacked the Ark, and destroyed it. The Quintessons apparently had a hand in the design of the saurian city. When Blurr, Wheelie, and Sky Lynx finally returned, the cog was inserted into Metroplex, who transformed to robot mode, and proceeded to best Trypticon in battle.
Blurr continued to serve the Autobot cause, and was among those who travelled to the planet Nebulos. There, his weapon was transformed into a exo-suit for a youthful, spastic Nebluan named Haywire, who became Blurr's TargetMaster partner. Blurr's weapon became ten times more powerful as a result of this process. Blurr then travelled to back to Cybertron and witnessed the restoration of it's Golden Age.
The remains of Blurr were seen shattered and laying in a mass grave on Cybertron at the time of what is referred to as Beast Machines. It is feasable to assume that BM Megatron extracted Blurr's spark and used his body in production of Vehicon drones.

SPRINGER

Springer made his first appearance alongside Arcee, transforming Autobot City to it's battle station mode amidst the chaos of the Massacre of 2005. After the death of Optimus Prime and the appointment of Ultra Magnus as new Autobot leader, the Decepticons attacked Autobot City again, to stop the Autobots from voyaging to Cybertron to stop Unicron from consuming the planet. Springer wound up on a shuttle with Magnus, Blurr, Perceptor, and the human Daniel Witwicky. Arcee very nearly failed to make it to the shuttle, which was beginning to blast off, but Springer managed to grab her and pull her aboard. When the team was stranded on Junkion, and the Decepticon subsequently arived, killed Ultra Magnus and stole the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, Springer unofficially became the Autobot leader. Then, the planet's natives, the Junkions, robots made of junk, attacked, and Sprigner engaged in a sword fight with their leader, Wreck-Gar. Despite help from an exo-suited Daniel, Springer was losing the fight, and was nearly terminated by Wreck-Gar, until the missing Hot Rod, Kup and Dinobots arrived, and used the Universal Greeting to make peace with the Junkions, who then repaired Ultra Magnus. Springer was among those who voyaged inside Unicron to stop the planet-eater.
Springer was the first Autobot Triple Changer, able to transform into a helicopter and a futuristic sports car. The car's design origin (whether from Cybertron or Earth in 2005) is unknown. In robot mode, Springer's helicopter rotor blades transform into a sword, his weapon of choice, and in addition to his standard blaster, he is also equipped with a blaster mounted in a compartment in his left forearm. Springer derives his name from his special ability - his legs are built like hydraulic springs, enabling him to leap and bounce great distances, in the same fashion as an Earthen pogo-stick.
Despite appearances that perhaps Arcee and Hot Rod were romantically involved in 2005, in 2006 Arcee was often depicted as being in a relationship with Springer. One assumes that Arcee and Hot Rod broke up, because all they ever did was argue, and Arcee turned to Springer, as he was the one who saved her during the shuttle launch. At the Galactic Games, Springer and Arcee chased down an alien called a Skuckzoid, who was an agent of the Quintessons, who were making their first strike against their creations, the Transformers (Ref: "Five Faces of Darkness"). Springer was a trustworthy Autobot warrior, although he sometimes doubted Rodimus's command decisions. Springer did not become a Head or TargetMaster, and was not among those who crashed on Nebulos. His final fate following the restoration of Cybertron's Golden Age is unknown.
