Zero Tolerance...another definition for Zero Intelligence.

In today's paranoid society, teachers and school administrators have jumped to extreme conclusions about their students.

For example, a student is expelled from school for drawing the picture of a soldier. He was considered a potential threat. The drawing "violated" the school's anti-gun policy.

Another student was expelled for carrying lemon drops candy. The candy violated the school's Zero Tolerance Drug policy.

Another student was expelled for carrying Tic-Tac candy...again another zero tolerance drug policy violation.

Another student is expelled for a tiny chain which is attached to her wallet...a violation of the schools' zero tolerance weapons policy.

In spite of this...we continue to hear and read about students who are killed or seriously injured by students who bring guns and knives to school.

School administrators have placed their priorites somewhere around the orbit of Neptune in attempting these so-called "zero tolerance" policies. The policies punish the innocent with no malicious intent whatsoever while those who intend harm managed to carry out their evil plans.

Thus, I have determined that Zero Tolerance policies (a good idea in theory) do not work as they are enforced as school officials have seemed to forget one of the most important items to consider when enforcing the policy...COMMON SENSE (see commentary: The Death of Common Sense).

This area is still under construction, but upcoming stories will report on the reign of terror by Zero Tolerance nazis whose gestapo tactics have caused more nervous breakdowns and mental trauma in children over the furor of being accused of being a "criminal."

Where will it all end? My solution: Home schooling!
