Older children are ready to begin keeping journals now. It is a good way for them to begin to develop the discipline that they need to begin working magick. It will also eventually become the beginning of their first Book of Shadows.
You should also begin to explain the difference between wishes and spells to your child. It's not really your child's fault that little Jimmy down the block got chicken pox because your child wished something bad would happen to him.
