I found this ritual in WiccaCraft for Families by Margie McArthur, and I thought it was really lovely, so I've included it here.
I've found many different family oriented rituals over the years, this one still holds a special place in my heart, even after all these years.
Ritual should be held outside (weather permitting) in the late afternoon.
-
Father/Priest:
- Family and friends, I ask you to link hands, For now, as in ancient
times, we gather to give thanks for that which has been given to us by
our generous Mother Earth.

Mother/Priestess:
- This is a season of abundance and joy, worthy of celebration now as
in times long past. Honoring Our Lady of the Harvest, the Mother Earth,
Giver of Life, Golden and beautiful in autumn. And Our Harvest Lord, the
resplendent Sun King, Giver of Light, Laughter and Fertility.

Oldest Child:
- To the rain that has fallen,
to the sun that has shown,
to the farmer working in his field,
to the wind that has blown;
To the gentle, healing herbs,
to the life within the seeds,
We give our thanks for all your gifts,
For meeting all our needs.
- To the rain that has fallen,

Mother/Priestess:
- At this time let us reflect upon and give thanks for all that has sustained us, has helped us to live, and helped sustain all those who lived before us - our ancestors. Think of the animals who have gifted us with their bodies that we might have food and clothing. Think of the trees that have given of their bodies that we might build our dwelling places. Think of the seeds being gathered, then planted; think of crops growing; and from those crops, more seeds, and more planting, down through the eons of time so that we might be here today.
- Father/Priest:
Family and friends, this ritual is ended. This is a time of joy and
thanks, so let us now, as we eat and drink, give thanks, within
ourselves for this bountiful season, for each other, and for all the
richness of our lives. Let the feast of Harvest Home begin!
Enjoy the Feast!
