WWF History

This is the place to come for the Recent History of my World Wrestling Federation. Since Judgement Day 2001, everything has changed. If you've read before, you know the whole ECW/WCW/WWF storyline. It started as this:

Judgement Day 2001
A while ago, about Rock Bottom 2 (Rock Bottom 1999), Chris Jericho and Chyna tricked Vince McMahon into selling them the World Wrestling Federation. Jericho, as a precaution, then decided to have someone else control it each month (that way, if he ever lost, he could regain it). He said those who scored the win at a Pay Per View would compete in Raw in a special stipulation match up against each other, with the winner becoming the new owner. Then, at Judgement Day 2001, Raven defeated Vince McMahon. He went on to Raw to take over the WWF. As his first act, he officially threw away the WWF and renamed it the RWF, Raven's Wrestling Federation. Vince McMahon came back with the WWF, in a plot to battle Raven for control of the wrestlers and whatnot that Raven controled.

Independance Day Special 2001
But, it was time for the tournament. Raven and Vince McMahon put there focus on having someone from the RWF and/or WWF wining the King of the Ring Tournament. After Billy Gunn of the WWF won, the WWF continued their invasion. The WWF and RWF would battle at the next Pay Per View, the InVasion of the WWF.

InVasion 2001
The World Wrestling Federation would battle the RWF in 11 matches this night. Who ever won the most would win. It came down to 5-5, with the remaining match being a 10 man tag, the WWF's Stone Cold, the Rock, Triple H, 2001 KOTR Billy Gunn, and Kane vs. the RWF's Albert, Raven, the Giant, Big Show, and the Undertaker. It looked like the WWF was going to when, when Stone Cold turned his back on them. But, Goldberg noticed. Therefore, the Giant came and attacked Goldberg, finishing the match. The RWF won.

Summer Slam 2001
Raven continued the RWF. Vince continued the WWF. He even brought in Steven Richards as the WWF Commissioner. But Sting came back after his injury during Judgement Day 2001's Hardcore Championship match. He decided to make his own wrestling legue. He called it the WCW, World Championship Wrestling. He advised Raven to change from the RWF to something more generous, but extreme. Like, Extreme Championship Wrestling, or ECW. Then, with that, the two companies joined. The WCW + ECW = WEcW. The WEcW would now be the one to take on the WWF. It even created Championships, just to spite the World Wrestling Federation. There's the WcW Heavyweight, equivalent to the WWF Title, the WcW United States, which is a copy of the WWF Intercontinental Title, and the WcW Tag Titles, and the WcW Television Title, the same as the WWF European. With that, the two companies went in to Summer Slam.

No Mercy 2001
Vince McMahon was not going to let the WEcW destroy him again. He kept fighting and fighting for survival. At No Mercy, however, Sting and Raven once again defeated the WWF. Vince was determined. He said why not let him have Sunday Night Heat? Sting allowed it. And Sting also came up with the idea of two commissioner's. One to control the championships, and one to control everything else. That went in to the Unforgiven Pay Per View.

Unforgiven 2001
The WWF put Steven Richards, the current WWF Commissioner, in the Commissioner's match at Unforgiven. The WEcW still had no one worthy. Sting was trying to get Austin in a WWF Championship match to control more titles (if the WWF had no title holders, they would fold). Vince wouldn't allow it. So, Sting kidnapped Steven Richards. He kept kidnapping superstars, but Vince wouldn't give in. Finally, Steven Richards granted the match. Apparently, he was a double agent, working for Sting. Sting put Richards in the Commissioner's match against the WWF's Goldberg. Richards won. And Triple H won.

Survivor Series 2001
The WEcW was falling apart. Justin Credible and Austin were having there difficulties. So Justin went over to the WWF, with his WcW US Title. Austin would battle Justin for that title at Survivor Series; however, he didn't win. Rikishi was pinned against the WWF Champion Triple H. Of course, Rikishi didn't win. Vince was becoming closer and closer to winning it all. Then he came up with a brilliant idea.

Rock Bottom IV
Vince challenged Sting and Raven to a match at Rock Bottom. He chose the WWF Champion, Triple H, as his partner. But, as tradition, he added that the match would be a Buried Alive match. To win, all you had to do was to put one of your opponents in the grave and bury him. And the winner would win control of everything. This was Vince's last hope to bring back the WWF. If he lost, there would be no more WWF. Sting agreed, but Raven didn't. Of course, Raven's oppinion doesn't matter. So the match was set. At Rock Bottom, Vince and Triple H were winning. Then, out of no where, Shawn Michaels showed up and hit Vince, who was burrying Sting. Everyone was unconscience, so Shawn threw Vince in the grave and burried him. The WWF was burried. But Shawn turned on Raven and Sting. He gave them both some Sweet-Chin Music.

Royal Rumble 2002
Shawn Michael's sudden appearance at Rock Bottom led to the break up of the WEcW. It looked like the war between companies was far from over. That night on Raw, Verne Troyer (Mini Me from the Austin Powers movie(s)) came out with Michaels. He explained that Raven, co-owner of the WEcW and CEO of the ECW, had lost the ECW to him in a poker match. Spiculation errupted as everyone wondered if Raven intended to lose it. Verne explained that he didn't want to be in the WEcW. So, he broke off to continue the ECW. The WCW/ECW Fed was underway. At Rock Bottom, all the titles were unifyed. But Verne decided to take every old WWF Title and make it ECW. But, he did want to unify the Tag Titles. So, he and Sting agreed to a Tag Tournament leading up to the Royal Rumble, where the two final teams would meet in a TLCC match. Undertaker and Albert won. Sting also challenged Raven for the Hardcore Title, (1) to see which company would own it, and (2) to get his revenge on Raven. Raven, of course, beat the crap out of Sting. Christian won the Royal Rumble and the WCW Title.

No Way Out 2002
A couple days after the Royal Rumble, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley came back. She and her husband Triple H started a Rebellion. This was etched into the WWF/RWF/WEcW/WCW/ECW history books. The Rebellion grew and grew. Each night, members of the Rebellion would take out some wrestlers with shots with a sledge hammer. Since Sting was gone from his injury at the Royal Rumble hardcore Cage match, Cactus Jack was in charge of the WCW. He wouldn't be a good leader. The Rebellion brought in new members and took out non members. Stephanie announced soon that the Rebellion took on the name WWF. She explained her dad, Vince McMahon, sold her the World Wrestling Federation when he realized he, even with Triple H, wouldn't be able to beat Raven and Sting. Moments before Rock Bottom IV, Vince started the WWF (World's Wealthiest Fighters) with only two members, him and Triple H. Technically, everyone but them were members of the WEcW. So, the WWF was making a third comeback. Third time's the charm. Stephanie vowed to bring back the WWF. At No Way Out, she made sure a Rebellion member was in every match. But the Rebellion did terrible, only winning the WCW TV Title. They retired that title the next night on Raw.

WrestleMania XVIII
Stephanie pumped up the Rebellion to make a new world order. More and more people were getting the sledge hammer until only people like Al Snow, Buff Bagwell, etc., were left. Finally, Cactus Jack and Verne Troyer signed over everything they had. The WWF was back. Gradually, members of the Rebellion went their separate ways. But Diesel, Razor Ramon, and the Director Hollywood Hulk Hogan stayed together to keep the new world order going. They called it the nWo. Rumors started that Vince McMahon was behind the nWo. At WrestleMania XVIII, there was a Women's Championship match, in a cage with WWF co-owner Stephanie as special guest referee (the other owner was Triple H). Sting made his return in that cage match destroying Chyna and Stephanie (Rebellion leaders) allowing Mighty Molly to win the Women's Championship.

Backlash 2002
By Backlash, Sting and the Rock had joined the nWo. The main event of Backlash was the WWF Championship being defended by Triple H against Sting and Jericho. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley was placed as the special guest referee. At Backlash, she turned on her husband and let Sting win the championship. On Raw it was announced that Vince wasn't behind the nWo, but Stephanie was. Triple H and Stephanie divorced. But they both owned the WWF. So HHH decided that they should have a draft. HHH would take over Raw, Stephanie could take over Smackdown! The champions were allowed on both shows. Triple H drafted the entire nWo but the Rock. Stephanie took the Rock as her only confidant. Until he won the Lightheavyweight/Cruserweight Title and lost it the next Monday on Raw to stay on Raw.

Judgement Day 2002
Stephanie knew that she was getting beat in the ratings by Raw. She wanted all or nothing. She put up a challenged. Triple H should fight Goldust (who was 2nd in command of the Rebellion) to see who would own the entire WWF. At Judgement Day, Ric Flair came out and let Goldust wind. He announced right after the match that Stephanie noticed how crappy Goldust preformed against Hogan, so she signed her WWF over to someone that didn't know about this whole ordeal. That was Ric Flair. He started watching old tapes, then realized what he was up against. So he let Goldust win. Goldust was actually defending Ric Flair. Flair now owned the WWF.
