JR's music hit and he walked into the ring from the announce table. He said that he came so close to winning the Championship on Raw. He wanted a one-on-one match with Sting. Ric Flair came out then. He said that JR didn't earn a Title shot. But he himself did. So Flair said that if JR could beat him, he'd get a title shot on Raw. If not, Flair would.

QOTR Elite Eight Match: Sable vs. Lita
Might Moly, again, came out to ringside. Lita of course had the match. Sable got one kick in in the beginning but Lita took over with the Litacurrana. Then Asia came out. She was about to hit Lita when Molly ran in. She hit Asia with the Women's Belt. She went back and explained to Scottie 2 Hottie (who took JR's place) and the King that she wanted to have a fair Queen of the Ring tournament. Which brought up a point. Oh yeah, Lita won.

Mighty Molly entered the ring. She said she wanted to win the QOTR tournment fair and square. Since Asia actually won her match with Ivory, she should have to face Asia. So she challenged Asia to a match, even if she wanted the Women's Title on the line. Asia agreed.

KOTR Qualifying Match: Austin vs. Eddie Guerro
Austin made this match quick. He punched Guerro a couple times then gave him the stunner for the victory.

Women's Championship Match: Mighty Molly vs. Asia
Mighty Molly was dodging all of Asia's moves, which is one of the reasons she won. Every time Asia ran at her, she moved out of the way, causing Asia to hit the turnbuckle or the ropes. Finally Molly got on the top rope and gave Asia the Mighty Dream Catchter for the win.

KOTR Qualifying Match: Edge vs. Goldberg
Goldberg started with the offense. Edge though, was no stranger to Goldberg's spear. The two fought back in forth. Goldberg was going for the spear when Edge put his knee up. Before Goldberg fell, Edge grabbed him and gave him the Edgeacution for the win.

Handicap Hardcore Match: Austin vs.
The only reason this was a hardcore match was because if Austin pinned Diesel he would become the Hardcore Champion. Anyway, as suspected, Diesel & Razor Ramon didn't work together with the Rock & Big Show. This gave Austin the advantage. Austin of course was about to win when he hit the stunner on Diesel, but the Rock pulled him off. So the Rock got a stunner. Then Sting came out and hit Austin with a chair. No matter, the bickering between the gave Austin enough time to regain control in the match, stunning the Big Show for the win.

#1 Contendership Match: Ric Flair vs. JR
JR asked the referee to make the Giant go in the back. Flair said it would be ok, so the Giant went back. JR hit Flair from behind. Flair came back though and started beating on JR. He was about to go for the Red Flair when JR ducked and gave him an Oklahoman boot. He picked him up and gave him a powerbomb for the win.

Smackdown! started with Undertaker coming out. He demanded to be in the Championship match at the Independance Day Special. Triple H then came out, also demanding to be in the Title Match. Then out came Hogan. He told them that they weren't allowed in his match. Then came Sting, the Champion. He said that since he's the Champ, he gets to choose who he fights. So he looked over at J. R. and challenged him to a Title Match on Raw. Jim agreed. Then, Ric Flair came out with the Giant. He said that he's the Owner and chooses who is and who isn't in the Championship match at the Ind. Day Special. He went through everyone in the ring one by one. He went to Hogan first. He told him that he was sick of his attitude. So, he suspended him for 1 week. He went to Sting. He told him that all he has to worry about is the King of the Ring Tournament, and defending his Championship against Hogan at the Special and defending it against the Giant tonight. He went to Triple H and Taker. He told them that one of them would get a title shot. They would fight tonight and the winner would go to Raw to face Sting and J. R. for the title.

The Women's Champion Mighty Molly came out. She said there was no competition for her. She was about to retire the Women's Title when Ivory came out. She started to talk, but then Asia came out. She was about to speak, but then Tori came out. One by one, 5 more women came out (Sable, Jackie, Chyna, Lita, Stephanie). There was total chaos. All of the women finally returned from the Rebellion injuries, all wanting Mighty Molly and her title. Ric Flair had to come out. He decided that in this year, the first ever Queen of the Ring Tournament would take place. Since there were 9 women, one of them had to be eliminated. He chose Mighty Molly, the Women's Champion. She argued though, because she wanted to be the first ever Queen of the Ring. So Flair said he would put each of the women's names into a hat and draw two. Those two would compete tonight in the only Queen of the Ring Qualifying match. It turned out to be Ivory and Asia.

HC Title and KOTR Qualifying Match: D-Von vs. Diesel
The Big Show came down with the Hardcore Champ Diesel, just in case he lost. Razor Ramon however, came down with them to defend Diesel, since Ramon was attacked by the Big Show on Raw. Ramon and Show were having words when Show threw him in a dumpster, closed it, and turned it upside down. Diesel pinned D-Von for the victory, then went to save his buddy Ramon. He got him out of the dumpster, but the Big Show chokeslammed Diesel onto all the hardcore weapons lying about. He went for a pin for the Hardcore Title, but Razor stopped him. The Rock came out trying to separate the two, but Razor pushed him out of the way and gave Show the big boot. When he turned around, the Rock was waiting for him with a Rock Bottom. The is having more problems.

Singles Match: Jericho vs. Test Jericho came out with his wife Chyna. He talked to Test, who was already in the ring. He said if Test would allow Chyna in the match to make it a handicap, Jericho would put the Intercontinental Title on the line. Test agreed. Jericho kept getting the boot from Test, but after two Chyna Syndromes, Chyna picked up the victory, although she is NOT the Intercontinental Champion.

Stone Cold Steve Austin is talking into the camera. "Ya know, I've been through a lot in the . Do you realize the last match I fought was against Christian and the Big Show at Backlash? Since then, Stephanie, Triple H, Flair and every other owner this business has had won't let me wrestle. I wanna know why." Razor Ramon came up from behind. "Austin, how would you like to join the ?" Austin came back, "The ? The same that gets tortured if they lose to the better man? The that so sick of themselves they resort to fighting themselves? The that-" Ramon cut in with a clothesline.

Ramon busted into Flair's office. Flair was thinking to himself, "What if Jesus did have nunchucks?" Ramon cut in, "Flair, I want Austin tonight." "No," Flair said. "Why not?" "You can have me tonight. Austin's not fighting again."

KOTR Qualifying: Rikishi vs. Undertaker
The Undertaker knew he had to hurry and finish this match because he had another match with Triple H tonight. If he won that, he'd face J. R. and Sting for the Title on Raw. So he mad short work of Rikishi. Rikishi went for a punch, but UT ducked and gave him a chokeslam.

QOTR Qualigying: Ivory vs. Asia
When both women were in the ring, Ivory picked up a mic. "Asia, I have a proposition for you. How about, after I win the match, you go get a | change? All you need is the legal documents." Asia retaliated with a boot. She took the padding off the turnbuckle and threw Ivory into on many occasions. She also grabbed a chair. She started hitting Ivory with it, then gave her the Asian Himilayas on the chair. She went for the pin. Of course she got the three. But Flair came out and reversed the decision for illegal use of a chair. Asia got her revenge on Flair, giving him the Himilayas on a chair. Then the Giant came out to defend Flair. But Asia got the upper hand with the Asian Himilayas.

Singles Match: Ramon vs. Flair
Flair entered the ring, and before he got his robe off, Ramon knocked him down. He gave him a bunch of hip tosses. Everyone was wondering where the Big Show was. They settle with the idea that Show was afraid of the Giant. Anyway, the Giant got on the ring apron, and Ramon got in his face-big mistake. The Giant gave Ramon a Giant Chokeslam to the outside. Then Asia came out and gave the Giant another Himilaya. Austin came out and gave Flair a stunner for saying he'd never fight again. Ramon came back in and Austin gave him a stunner. Ramon fell right on Flair for the victory.

#1 Contender Match: Triple H vs. Undertaker Triple H came out first and told everyone to hold their hats. Up from the floor between the ramp and the ring came a giant fan. Triple H had it turned on. It was going very fast and it was very loud; when UT's music hit, you could hardly hear it. Taker looked at it, and ignored it. The match started, and Undertaker was on top of it for most of the time. Near the end of the match, the two were fighting outside. Undertaker got back in, and Triple H was on the apron. Before he could do anything, Undertaker shoved Triple H into the fan. The fan stopped with Triple H's body on it. Taker brought him back in and gave him a chokeslam for the victory.

Championship: Sting defends against the Giant
In the very beginning of the match, the Giant picked up Sting and threw him out onto the announcer's table. That gave Asia the perfect oppurtunity. Again, she came out and gave the Giant an Asian Himilaya. Austin came out when Sting was getting back in the ring and gave the Giant a stunner. Asia looked over at Austin. Austin looked at Asia. He went over to her. Asia hoped for the best, yet feared for the worse. Austin gave her a stunner to show everyone that he doesn't like her. Sting gave the Giant a tombstone and retained his Title.
