This site is...
for all of us who have lost
loved ones, to provide a means to
channel our grief, and write of it. We are
creating something as precious as pure gold, so
that something fine emerges from the fire of anguish
and tears. Lasting memorials written in loving
memory and honor of our beloved child
or other cherished one.

A poetry collaboration
on the tragedy of losing a child, or other loved
one, dedicated to the memories of the children I have
lost. This is a caring site, for those of us in grief,
seeking poems of love, memories and pain,
about the precious ones we have lost,
to share with each other. This
is a place for compassion
and healing.
And may God comfort you and
give you strength in your
suffering and grief as
we share our love
and memories
with each
other.
~ Memorials Page One ~
This site is dedicated to the memories of my own deeply loved children.
Due to the loading time and wait, Ive had to divide
the two front pages. The second page is here:
~ Memorials Page Two ~
I am taking a rest. Though I won't be creating
new memorial pages, anyone who has a page here
can always add new poems or writings for
their loved ones' page. I will be glad
to add them!
Warmly, Rosemary

Coming Through the Fire, by Rosemary J. Gwaltney

The Bible gives us wonderful assurance of the keys to Heaven:
that, if thou shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9
I'm so deeply grateful for God's gift of eternal life,
and I have that assurance that I will see my children again.
I pray you have that faith too.
Jesus said:
Peace I leave with you,
My peace I give unto you; not
as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27-28
My dear lost
children are not simply
sucked away into the vacuum
of my broken heart, I have laid
up treasures in Heaven.

(This wonderful old hymn has comforted my soul many times oer the years.)
In Heavenly Love Abiding
In heavenly love abiding, no change my heart shall fear.
And safe in such confiding, for nothing changes here.
The storm may roar without me, my heart may low be laid,
But God is round about me, and can I be dismayed?
Wherever He may guide me, no want shall turn me back.
My Shepherd is beside me, and nothing can I lack.
His wisdom ever waking, His sight is never dim.
He knows the way He's taking, and I will walk with Him.
Green pastures are before me, which yet I have not seen.
Bright skies will soon be o'er me, where darkest clouds have been.
My hope I cannot measure, my path to life is free.
My Savior has my treasure, and He will walk with me.

Who Has Seen the Wind?
Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you;
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I;
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by.
~ Christina Rossetti ~
This lovely childs poem,
which I taught all my children, reminds
me of the countless moments when, without
a sound, their sudden precious tender
memories cut through my
mother-heart.
