Sumatran Tigers at Mogo Zoo
  • Mogo Zoo has one male sumatran tiger, Dougall.
  • Dougall was born at Taronga Zoo on the 26th October 1995 to that zoos breeding pair, Shiva and Seletan, one of three male cubs.
  • He was later moved to Adelaide Zoo but in 2001 Mogo Zoo entered the Sumatran Tiger Program with his arrival.
  • Dougall originally was given another name but was renamed after the man who put a lot of effort into fund raising for the zoo.
