Pilaf Saga
Dragonball starts off as Goku a boy meets Bulma, Bulma hits Goku with her car surprizing Goku and his fish aren't injured at all. Bulma then explains to Goku what Dragonballs are, Goku tells Bulma he has a Dragonball with four stars on it. Goku refuses to give up the Dragonball so he decides to join Bulma for the Dragonballs. During their journeys Goku and Bulma make tons of friends including, Yamcha, Oolong, Kamesennin, Chi-chi, and the Ox-King. Later in the series Goku and company battle Pilaf during this battle Goku turns Oozaru destroying Pilafs castle.
Red Ribbon Army Saga
During this series Goku goes under training with Kamesennin, later Krillen joins Goku in training. Kamesennin teaches Goku and Krillen the Dreaded Kamehameha. Later Goku gets trained again by Korin, but this time his training was used to defeat Dr. Gero.
Piccolo Damiao Saga
The series starts off as Goku enters the Tenkaichi-budokai, during this tourtament Goku meets Tien and Choutzu. The final match is between Goku and Tien, Goku loses in battle. After the battle Krillen is killed, Goku starts looking for the killer. Meanwhile Piccolo Damiao is causing terror around the world. In a battle with Piccolo Damiao, Tien is about to die, when suddenly arrives and defeats Piccolo Damiao. Before Piccolo Damiao died he spits out a egg containing Piccolo. Knowing Piccolo Damiao spit out a egg Kamesennin trains Goku. At the next Tenkachi-budokai Goku battles Piccolo and defeats him, sparing his life at the end. At the end of the series Goku marries Chi-chi.
