Why?
Among all those mentioned before [with the exception of tetsuya, who, as i said, i don't know much about], suboshi is the only one who really cared for yui and saw yui for who she really is.
Both of them were also misguided by nakago, who made yui believe that she was raped and that no one cared; and sunoshi was made to belive that amiboshi was already dead, what more, killed by the suzaku seishi.
The two of them understand each other, and even though Yui refuses to admit it, she feels something for suboshi, even if it is not love that's as great as suboshi's, there is still something there, compassion at the very least.
I do, however, agree that yui treated suboshi poorly, but all of t>hat is because the poor girl was in denial throughout the whole series. she just had too much, umm, insecurities.
Nevertheless, suboshi, really loved yui, and in the end, was even willing to sacrifice his life for her. *sniff, sniff*
