One day, a young girl falls out of the sky, demanding the Silver Crystal. It is later discovered that this young girl is from 1000 years in the future and from a place called Crystal Tokyo. She was sent back for safety reasons and to find the Silver Crystal to save her mother, the Neo-Queen Serenity from attackers from the Nega-Moon. With her constant companion, Luna-P, Rini hypnotizes Serena's family into thinking she is a cousin. It is later discovered that Serena is the Neo-Queen Serenity in the future, and Rini is Serena and Darien's daughter. The two argue constantly, but are exactly alike in the way they fix their hair and their personalities. She is mainly an annoyance to Serena in the Sailor Moon R series, but becomes an asset in the Sailor Moon S series by tranforming into Sailor Chibi-Moon. In the next series, Sailor Moon Super S, the storyline is nearly centered around Rini and Pegasus. Pegasus is a really a boy called Helios, and are hints of romance between Helios and Rini. |
