Amy is revealed as being Sailor Mercury as the sign of Mercury appears on her forehead. As discovered by Luna, Sailor Mercury is the first scout to fight with Sailor Moon. She possesses the power of ice, and although her attacks are effective, she is not as powerful as her teammates. However, her main strength is finding tactical ways to get the scouts out of their current problem, as her IQ is around 300. She is, by far, the smartest of the scouts, and she is often found encouraging the other girls to study harder for their tests. Before the last two of the inner senshi came along, Amy was often put in the middle of Serena and Raye's constant bickering and was the one to keep the two focused on the mission at hand. Because of her intelligence, Luna gives Amy a visor that allows her to mathematically and scientifically analyze the situation. |
