He headed up stairs to the bathroom where Kento had disappeared. The door was wide open and it was dark inside. Sage heard a small splashing coming from the bathtub. Sage turned the light to see Sakura Kinamoto of Card Captors sitting on the edge of the tub, splashing her leg with water.
"I had a little accident getting here," she motioned toward her scraped knee and her roller blades lying on the tiled floor. She continued to splash water on her knee.
"Why did you have the light off?" Sage asked.
"Well, I wanted to try to clean this up before you came and I didn't want to bring attention here." a large sweat drop formed on Sakura's forehead.
"Well, I think I can heal that for you," Sage armored up and a surprised Sakura fell in the tub with a splash.
"That's a neat trick," Sakura remarked as she squeezed some water out of her hair and rubbed her bottom.
"Sorry if I scared you," Sage said.
"No problem," Sakura said. Sage healed Sakura and armored down.
"Thanks, that feels much better. I almost hate to give you this task. But, seeing as how we don't get out of here without giving you one, here it is. You have to give Kero a bath," Sakura pointed to a golden-brown stuffed animal on the sink.
"Oh that shouldn't be so hard," commented Sage. He ran some warm water into the cool water that was already in the tub. He walked back over to the sink to pick up the stuffed animal when suddenly it spoke.
"Don't touch me! I'm not goin' in that water!" with these words Kero bit Sage's hand.
"Ow! You stupid toy," Sage shouted. In response Kero bit him again and hovered over his head.
"Ouch," Sage's hand went to his No-Datchi but he quickly regained his self-control. "Alright we both don't want to do this, but the sooner it gets done, the sooner this will all be over."
"No way, Jose, I'm not lettin' you give me a bath. Come on Sakura, I wanna go play video games and I saw Star Ocean 2 down there.
"Not now Kero, first you need a bath,"
"Aw, man I'm not even that dirty," Kero complained as he sniffed his armpits and made a disgusted face.
"Well," Sage said his hand on his chin in a thinking pose." If you let me give you a bath I'll show you where Kento hides the rest of his games."
"Really?" Sage had caught Kero's attention. "Will there be snacks too?"
"Yeah, sure, but the bath comes first,"
"Alright, you got yourself a deal."
Kero sang as Sage scrubbed his dirt-matted fur. In a few minutes Kero was clean and his coat was shiny.
"Well, I guess that wasn't so bad. Now for those video games!" Kero fluttered down the stairs at a speed that even astonished Sakura. The girl grabbed her roller blades, handed Sage a metallic-orange letter B and ran after Kero.
"Wait up, Kero."
Sage watched the two run down the stairs; he then looked down at the letter in his hand.
"A 'B' huh. 'i-B', what could that spell?" Sage thought about the letters as he turned off the bathroom light and headed for Kale's room.
