My original Fibre Glass bonnet - Ok as a stop gap.
Below, I was lucky enough to aquire this original stanpart Bonnet , it has never been fitted to a car and still had the Stanpart wrappers on the frame. It had some minor surface rust but should look superb when fitted.
I am no expert on bodywork so I relied on the instructions from various tins, hence all the poor areas were treated with a rust cure followed by primer and will shortly get their final coats and the all important top coats of Triumph white
Below, looking better every day. I am worried that I may have to leave this in primer longer than recommended but hobbies sometimes have to take a back seat.
Not looking too shabby, I cant wait to colour this in and fit it tback on the chassis........er , if I can remember how.
