Cross-Cultural
Awareness(CCC1/2)
This Cross-Cultural communication course aims at
creating awareness and building a solid foundation from which to develop
understanding, flexibility and respect as a first step towards effective
long-term international cultural cooperation. It suggests strategies for
communicating more effectively across national borders. This course is a must
for anyone who wishes to interact across cultures.
USA: Beyond Technical Competence (CCUS12)
This is a course on how to be highly effective when working with US companies. International employees who now work or are going to work in the United States can be thrown off course by the unwritten expectations and customs of the US workplace. In this results-oriented course, participants will be given practical strategies and material which will allow them to adapt to the American work and living culture.
Cross-Cultural Negotiations(CCN6)
Building
relationships with your counterparts from other cultures has rewards and risks.
One of the biggest risks is not understanding the expectations of your global
clients. When and how do they want to be approached? When do you need a
significant amount of small talk and when do you get straight to the point? How
can you tell if you are wasting your time or if you are getting somewhere? In
this course, participants will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for
them to be more effective internationally. This program will be tailored to the
audience.
Cross-Culture for NGO's(CCD11)
This course was specifically designed for persons who are being relocated
to countries in the 3rd. World
and who face the challenges characteristic to such areas.
After
the first module which deals in detail with cross-cultural sensitization and
awareness, participants are confronted with other important issues such as
Culture Shock, Cultural adaptation, integration into new environments, cultural
empathy, etc.
Capitalizing on Cultural Diversity in the Workplace(CCM9B)
Strengthen team skills in a
diverse environment. (The program can be customized for finance, technology,
engineering or other business areas.) You work in a diverse team with members
coming from many different countries and backgrounds. How do you all work
together effectively? How do you communicate, share ideas, handle conflicts? And
how do you integrate cultural influences and differing perspectives? In this
interactive course, participants will learn and model best practices for
creating and sustaining an effective, innovative and diverse team
Cross-Culture and Management(CCM9)
Today’s
cross-cultural work force presents
managers with both challenges and opportunities. To be able to capitalize on the
strengths of different cultures, managers must be able to understand and
communicate effectively with employees born and raised in other countries. By
acquiring specific skills and knowledge, decision-makers can substantially
improve cross-cultural communication as well as efficiency, morale and
productivity.
Cross-Cultural Team-Building(CCM8)
How to work effectively and
efficiently with culturally diverse co-workers.
A course on
strategic, tactical and cultural components of working effectively with global
projects and international colleagues and clients. You need to communicate with
colleagues, customers, or suppliers in Europe, Latin America, or the Pacific
Rim. You may be a member of an international project team. Next month, you might
be flying to Singapore and Shanghai. How do you strengthen your global skills so
you will be more effective internationally? In this course, participants will be
given immediately useful strategies and information which will make them more
effective internationally.
Cross-Cultural Human Resource Management(CCM9)
How to
successfully manage employees in a diverse and fast-paced workplace.
Relocation and Culture Shock(CCS10)
Culture-Shock
is a perfectly normal psychological, attitudinal and even physical reaction to
unfamiliar environments. In this course we deal headfront with the challenges
that bring about moving to a new country. This country may be just across the
border or on the other side of the world. No-one
is immune to culture-shock. It is a total immersion phenomenon and you need to
be prepared for it. The good news is that there is a “treatment” and a
“cure”.
