Gorgeous sunny day today. Hot too! Tonight at almost 2 am it's still 18 degrees in our room, without the heater being on.
This morning I did something a bit different. I went out to the park! It's Hanami time in Tsuruoka. I biked along by the river and took a few pictures. I made it to the park too. It was a glorious day. I'm including some of my pictures here too!
It really was a beautiful day. It almost made me understand why people like cherry blossoms so darn much!
On the way back to the apartment I stopped off at the post office, then at the apartment I showered and cooked my breakfast. It was really good.
Work was fine today. Students were very late in some classes, but some students didn't even come! I had two classes in a row cancel on me. I was lucky that they called because I could do a lot of paperwork that I really needed to do.
After work Fumihiko picked me up and we went to the grocery store to get salad. We drove by the park and it still looked beautiful, even at night, but not as great as in the daytime. At home we ate dinner, then came upstairs to pack. I'm wracking my brains trying to think of what to take! I hope I have everything.
Anyway, I won't be here for a few days. We're off to Niigata tomorrow and likely won't be back until Monday. There won't be any updates for a while. Have a good weekend! Bye!
Oh, PS...the winning purse, with 7 votes to 2 was the small gold one with the long strap. I'm a little disappointed, but as I said, I really do love them both. I already packed the small one! I'll let you know if it gets any compliments!!!
