Rainy and cloudy today.
An interesting day/night. Last night after work we went to M's dining for dinner then went to the apartment. It was really nice, spending the night there. It was a bit cold as we'd had snow and hail during the day and we didn't have a heater.
This morning we slept in, way in, and then got up and went to the Daiichi Hotel for lunch. We had to wait a long time to get in, but when we got in it was quite nice. We ate quite a lot as usual!
Afterwards we went to the mall to see when Kill Bill would start. We had a lot of time so I went looking for miso soup bowls. Not for me you understand, but for my friend Susan. She went back to Canada but didn't take any bowls. I finally got some nice ones in the hardware store. I think they are quite pretty.
We went for coffee and then to see Kill Bill Vol.2. It was great. It wasn't nearly as violent as the first part, and it was a lot of fun too. It was interesting seeing Daryl Hannah again, and Michael Madsen. He's changed a bit since his Reservoir Dogs days.
This evening Fumihiko and I went to Bistro Des Ponts for dinner. I had pork and he had Japanese steak. Yum. Everything was wonderful. I skipped dessert and my bread, but Fumihiko had my rice.
We dropped off our new apartment purchases (a laundry basket plus bathroom stuff) and a new kettle, then we came home. I started working on my packing. I emptied out a suitcase, I was storing my big clothes in it, and then packed a few clothes for my trip. I'm really trying not to take too much. For one thing, I'll probably end up buying too much, and for another, I can wash clothes at my sister's.
Now I'm watching last week's Monk. Hopefully it will be interesting. I'll talk to you later.
