Sunny and hot. Gorgeous day.
A good day, after a not so great start. Last night I was working on my computer and Fumihiko kept telling me to go to bed. It was annoying. Then, when I finally did go to bed, he tossed and turned so I couldn't get any sleep. His back was sore and he made sure that I knew it!
This morning I went to my old apartment and even though I tried not to, I took a nap. When I got up I went to work. I worked very hard actually. I boxed up many things, mine and the schools. Then I took a short break for lunch, then came back. I boxed up lots more stuff, and then Fumihiko came.
We packed the stuff over to the new apartment and then drove off to Mikawa to our little restaurant. We had a lovely dinner of pork and sashimi and soup. It was great. We had a great time, and we actually talked to each other during dinner!
When we finished we went to the mall to buy a quilt for our bed, but we couldn't see any. Instead, we got two "towel-kets". They are a combination of blanket and towel for the bed. It's so hot in summer that we need to have something to absorb moisture. They are nice and warm, but not too warm.
On the way back to the apartment we stopped at Book Off. I went a bit crazy in the DVD and video section. I got 3 DVD's, Enchanted April, X-Men 2 and I can't remember right now! I got a few videos too. I got an American tape of While You Were Sleeping, so no subtitles, and I got a couple of episodes of Strange Luck, the TV show. I also got The Three Musketeers on video. I think there was one more, but I can't remember it right now! All good stuff and I'm looking forward to it all.
We came back to the house via the apartment and now I'm updating you! I just finished watching ER and soon I'll probably post this and maybe go to bed. Maybe!
Gotta go. Tomorrow I'll be a bit busier at first at work, but in the evening, not very. That's really okay though!
