Sunny and hot, rainy at night.
A good day. I left here a bit late for work, but still made it on time. Whew! I planned my lessons for this week, well some of them anyway. I taught some classes and got ready for the week.
In my last class a student told me that it is forecast rain tomorrow for the fireworks. Oh no. If they postpone them I can't go. I'm in the process now of considering if I should wear my lovely new yukata or not. I'm worried that if it rains I won't be able to keep it clean/dry and most importantly I'm worried about my sandals/geta. I've never walked in them and I would have to walk quite far in them tomorrow. I'm getting cold feet. Either wearing my jimbei or something casual is sounding really good.
I'm currently reading a David Baldacci novel. It's a sequel to Split Second. It's rather good, at least so far. I also just got the new Empire magazine, so I'm in good reading stead at the moment.
Well, that's it for me for today. Tomorrow if I update I'll let you know what I wore for the hanami. I'd love to wear my yukata, but I am quite worried about being able to put it on properly, and those shoes!
