February 16, 2005 - Wednesday

Snowy and cool, rain in the evening.

A pretty good day all things considered. I did my morning stuff and managed to leave on time today. I fairly flew down the backstreets too. It was snowing into my face, but the road wasn't slippery and I got into the zen of walking and just enjoyed myself. Yay. I love walks like that. I got to work much earlier than the day before. Yes!

Work was fine. I did have a 12 o' clock class which went well, then all my usual ones. Every thing went well I think. I was ready to leave around 9:30, but Fumihiko didn't arrive until almost 10. By then, I really didn't feel well. I don't know if it was my lunch - the pork chop smelled a little weird - or just some weird thing, but I really felt sick. I sat for a while and considered asking Fumihiko to just take me home. However, I just suggested going to M's Dining. I could get something plain there and that would probably be fine.

I just had the chicken and water to drink. I enjoyed it though. I started bopping around to the music and realized that I must be feeling better or I wouldn't be bopping around that much!

After dinner we came home and now Fumihiko is looking at some papers connected to his work. He said they're going to raise the rent on our apartment. That might sound bad, but I think even the new rent is really reasonable, and still much less than I've paid for any other apartment I've had in Japan (or Canada for that matter!) So, not too much complaining from me.

And that was it. My day. It was okay all in all. It's just blooming cold in here, even with the heater on and a big chunky sweater on me!

Oh, I forgot. I started reading a horoscope book about myself and hubby over there and it was bang on. It helped me see that I can't just "hint" about things to hubby, I have to hit him over the head with them. He doesn't get the hints. It's been driving me crazy how he can never understand what I want when I hint or try to nicely nudge him about something. No more. Now I'm just going to say things outright to him!

Night!
