Warm and sunny, but rainy at night.
This morning I wasn't very awake. How did I know? I caught myself carefully grinding pepper into my coffee instead of my omelet. Bah! I spooned most of the pepper out and the coffee tasted just fine anyway.
Work was okay. I got there at the same time as the delivery man. He was darn pleased because he could give me the box outside the school. I wasn't even officially at work yet, but that's okay. Better before work than during my kids class.
During the afternoon I prepped for tonight's classes and also for Tuesday. It's nice to get that done and out of the way. I have an hour on Tuesday, but then all the classes come at once so it's a bit of a pain if I leave it until then.
I also had a surprise visitor at the school. My ex-manager came by to get her stuff. It was nice to see her as I haven't seen her for a bit. We did chatted a bit, and then I had to teach.
My last two classes were fine. In one of them we ended up talking about Scrabble and I remembered my mini Scrabble board. I pulled it out and showed it to her. After class I packed it up for home.
When Fumihiko picked me up he took me home via the grocery store. He had prepared yakiniku for me. Yum. I had wanted some earlier in the week, but most of the places around town close before I can get there after work. We had veggies too, and some lovely peppermint tea. I did the dishes afterwards to say thanks.
Then, we played Scrabble. Well, honestly, not quite a real game of it, but I wanted to give Fumihiko the idea of how to play. I was helping him get more points and decide where to put his words. It was kind of fun, but he's really tired right now. Poor thing.
And that was my day. I'm just waiting for ER to come on. After that I'll likely go to bed. I'm tired too!
