Hot and sunny - again!

A good day today. I got up and did all the usual morning things I do. I had a nap on the couch, but had the devil of a time waking up afterwards. Sigh.

I got to work on time and got busy. I had two classes right off the bat, and both students were fine today.

Then I had a break. A long break. A very long break. I was supposed to have a class at 5, but the student didn't come and didn't call. At 7 I was supposed to have another class, but one student didn't call or come. One student did let our head office know that she couldn't come, so that was okay. Happily, my 8 o'clock class did happen, so I didn't waste all of that time.

After work I did something strange. I reset the clock in the lobby and in my classroom. For months, years maybe, people have complained that our clock was too fast. Well, no longer. It's now on the right time, so people had better show up on time!

Fumihiko took me to the new Yakiniku place and we had a really good dinner. He wanted the combo as usual, but I wanted to try some other meat. So, we did. It was really nice and we enjoyed ourselves.

We're back home after a brief stop in the grocery store where Fumihiko got up to the checkout and announced he'd left his wallet in the car. I ended up paying for the groceries, but he did pay me back later, so it's okay.

Fumihiko has to write a big test for his job tomorrow, so I'm trying to be quiet and not bother him too much. It's kind of hard because I keep thinking of things I want to say to him and then I remember that I shouldn't. Wish him luck, okay?

And that's about that. I had a good day. I started my new Dean Koontz during lunch, The Taking. It's very exciting. Aliens are taking over the world and only two people can stop them, maybe! I'll write a review on my bookpage when I'm done.

Gotta go, night!
