Bit rainy, a little warmer than yesterday.
An interesting day really. I woke up relatively early, but I didn't get up early at all. I had planned to go for a walk, but didn't end up doing it. Sigh.
When we did get up we went to Moku-Moku for lunch. The food was okay, but the service was bad and we ended up leaving early. I had a dental appointment at 2 and they were busy and taking their time. Just before we left, we rang the bell to call the waitress. Not one came to our table so we left. We did pay, and they seemed a bit surprised that we'd leave.
We went to the dentist and it was okay today. The dentist made an impression of my tooth for the crown. There were no injections today and very little pain. Hurray for that. However, my mouth does feel a bit funny right now. Just not comfortable.
After the dentist I got Fumihiko to take me to the post office to order my traveller's cheques. For a change, they actually had some! However, I wanted more, so I ordered them. This clerk seemed to know what he was doing for a change, which was good!
When we finished in the post office Fumihiko got us kerosene and then drove me to the grocery store. I picked up a few things for the week ahead.
We came home and after a big hug, he left for his party. What did I do by myself all night? Not a lot! I watched the extras on Love, Actually and then I read some of my book. I also watched the news in English. I worked on my homepage a bit, and I have to do more on it.
I'm going to try to go to bed fairly early if I can. I'm a bit tired and I'm back to work tomorrow. Sigh. Weekends just don't seem long enough.

Oh, one last thing. Yesterday was the 8th anniversary of my coming to Japan. I forgot to mention it. It seems like such a long time ago, and I guess it is!
