Rainy in the morning, cloudy most of the day.
A good day. When I got up this morning I was saddened to realize that it was raining outside and I couldn't go for a walk. I'm not sure if I was really saddened, but did want to go for a walk today.
I got to work okay today and did a lot of planning. I have a lot of new classes next week and I'm not really sure how'll they be. I got most of my new private classes planned, but I have a lot more to do tomorrow. Sigh.
On my lunch hour I went out to go to the bank machine. I walked past Mr. Donuts and I could see my ex-student working there, so I went in to see her.Of course the lady before me had a ton of things to do, but finally I could talk to my student. Hurray. It was so nice to see her after all this time. I think it's been more than a year since she was in Tsuruoka.
I went to the bank machine, got some money, and went shopping in Marica. I went to the shop that I got Fumihiko's cup in to see if they had another one like it. They did, but it didn't have a handle, so I didn't want to get it. I found another pottery cup, it's blue and brown and swirly. It's quite attractive, and honestly, a little more masculine than the other one I had given him. The lady in the shop boxed it up for me, and then I hit the hundred yen shop for a few minutes.
In the evening at work I taught a couple more lessons for the last time, then set up for my kids class tomorrow. Fumihiko called me and then picked me up.
Tonight we went somewhere we haven't gone for a while, Benkei. Fumihiko had gone there during Golden Week, but I haven't been in ages. So, we went. We had a great meal, but all of the fish that we ordered wasn't available. Sigh. Still we had lots of veggies, eggplant, salad, mushrooms and asparagus, some pork barbecue, duck tsukune and tofu. We did have some cooked fish after a while. Everything was great.
We came home via the grocery store. I didn't need anything today, but Fumihiko did. However, I did buy an avocado! I might make guacomole, I'm not sure.
Anyway, that's it for me. I had a pretty good day actually. Talk to you tomorrow? Night night.
