Sunny and warm.
A good day. I slept in nice and late today and then got up. I did some laundry, and watched This is Spinal Tap with the commentary on. It was pretty funny.
I did a bit of vacuuming in the late afternoon and started another book. I'm now reading The Tipping Point. It's quite interesting. It's about how little things can make a big difference in the world.
When I cooked lunch today I made a cheese and mushroom omelet, and it was great. Yum. I think I need to vary my fillings more than I do.
Oh, and big news, Fumihiko found his cell phone. It was at work, in his bus. I'm just glad that he's got it back.
In the evening, Fumihiko decided to take us out to the nice restaurant in Mikawa, but when we got there it was full. It was too bad as I'd even dressed up. I wore my new black shirt from Canada with some black pants. I wore some make-up and a string of white pearls. I think I looked pretty good.
We ended up going to a restaurant in the mall which was okay, but not great. We had steak and drink bar. Then I went shopping. I wanted to get something for my soon to be ex-coworker.
We got to the theatre just on time, and it was a good thing too as we had to renew our membership cards. With our cards we get a discount on normal priced shows. We also get bonuses like free movies and sometimes free popcorn/concession stuff. Of course, I don't get a lot of the concession stuff!
We saw Million Dollar Baby. It was great. Everyone deserved their Academy Awards for that film. I enjoyed the movie a lot. The writing was great. Thanks Paul Haggis... he used to write/direct one of my favourite Canadian programmes, Due South.
We were both hungry after the movie so we drove to Sakata to M's Dining. We had chicken and then came home via the convenience store - to pay a bill - and the grocery store.
That's about it. I hope tomorrow is as nice as today was. Talk to you later? Night night!
