May 30, 2005 -Monday

Warm and sunny, nice day.

I slept in this morning and when I finally roused myself I realized that Fumihiko was gone. I found a note from him saying that he'd gone to the doctor and would be back as soon as he could.

I went back to bed and slept for a while longer. When he came back we had a bit of a snuggle then I took my shower. Then we went out for lunch to Cocos. It wasn't too bad, and it was cheaper than in the evening.

After lunch we ran a lot of errands. Fumihiko picked up his watch at the jewellers, I dropped something for Mika off at my school, and then we picked up my photos. While we were there, we ran into Ritsuko. It was nice to see her. We had a brief chat, but we had to be on our way.

At the mall, we went to the tailoring shop and I got my pants measured. They'll be ready in about a week. Yay. I'm looking forward to wearing my Cotton Ginny Striped pants. They're funky and summery. Yay. My work suits I'm looking forward to as well.

We checked out the movie times and finally decided to see The Interpreter. I saw it before in Canada, but I wanted to see it again. We had an hour to kill so we went to the coffee shop for coffee, then the bookstore. Finally we went to the theatre. We had a small spat before the film, but decided to go and see it anyway.

I liked it, even though it was my second time, but Fumihiko didn't. I think he liked the performances, but after last night's masterpiece, Million Dollar Baby, this did pale a bit in comparison. He doesn't like "police" stories.

After the movie we had dinner in Moku Moku, bought our groceries and then came home. We haven't done very much of anything since we came home. I read a bit of my book, then checked email and used my computer. Fumihiko is off taking a bath.

Tomorrow I'm planning to cook at home. I hope I have enough energy after work! I'll maybe make guacamole in the morning, if I can shake a leg! That's the plan right now anyway. I'll let you know how it goes!

Night night!
