Rainy then clearing at night.
I had a really hard time getting up today. I very nearly didn't. I stayed in bed a bit longer than usual, finally dragging my self over to my computer to check email. After that I fell asleep on the couch.
I had to hustle a bit this morning so there was no time to make guacamole. I just got out of here in time to go to work. When I opened the door to go out I saw it was raining so I came back in and got my nice new pink raincoat from Cotton Ginny. It was quite comfy and kept me very dry. Of course, by the time I got to work it wasn't raining very much anymore!
I didn't have a lot of classes today. The other teacher taught some of them this week so I didn't have them today. However, I did do a lot of paperwork and planning. I hope everything goes well.
After work I called Fumihiko but he didn't answer. I guessed that he must still be working so I came home. I got to the apartment building about 2 minutes after him. I went in after I parked my bike and started on dinner.
I mashed the avocados, then Fumihiko took over and chopped up a tomato to put in. He did the mixing of the stuff too. I did the cooking of the meat, while Fumihiko did all the little things like slice the cheese, and wash the lettuce. I set the table and made tea. Tonight we had Prince of Wales tea with our Mexican feast. It was a good choice! It had enough flavour that it could be tasted over the spicy food, but wasn't too flowery so that it clashed. We both enjoyed it.
When we finally got down to the business of eating it was great! Both of us, when we took a bite, said, "Oh." It was so good.
After dinner and more tea we did the dishes. Fumihiko washed and I dried.
He had an eventful day at work today. He said that he fell while putting up window screens. He said he fell about 3 metres, but seems to be okay. I'm a bit worried. Lately he's been in a lot of pain from his wrist and back, so I hope he really is okay, and not just being a tough guy.
And that was my day. It was good actually. Dinner was great. I don't know how much I'll feel like cooking in the near future though.
Gotta go, night night!
