Cloudy but no rain I think!
I had a good day today. It was quiet, but okay. I had a really hard time gettingout of bed today. I think it had something to do with not sleeping all that well. Fumihiko was really restless last night and that made it hard to get a lot of sleep.
I had two people ring the doorbell today. Both times I looked at the people and didn't answer the door. Why should I? I didn't know who they were. The first was an insurance salesperson (according to the thing she left behind) and the second I have no idea.
I was worried about Fumihiko so I sent him an email to find out how he was. He was feeling better, but had a headache. Poor thing.
When hubby came home from work he relaxed a bit and we booked a hotel room on the internet. We're off to Sendai to have a look at books tomorrow. We discovered that my computer has the ability to write in Japanese. It's not too easy to do, but for forms it's not too bad. I wouldn't write a letter like that though.
For dinner we went out. We went to the Daiichi Hotel for their Asian Buffet. It was really nice. There was a party going on in another room that was quite loud, but apart from that, we had the place to ourselves.
We needed a few things for the apartment so we went back into the mall. On the way Fumihiko made a joke that I'd passed the washroom that I usually use and then I realized that I should have gone! However, I decided to go to the washroom in the mall. No big deal. Well, in the cubicle, I found someone's wallet. At first I thought it was just a glasses case, but I checked and it had ID and money (which I didn't look at too closely.) I picked it up, washed my hands, and just then a cleaning lady came in. Now, I know I probably should have given the wallet to her, but I had no idea how to explain what happened. I found my hubby and explained to him. Then, we tried to find someone to give the wallet to. There was no security guard patrolling, no information place, no one "in charge". We finally took the wallet into one of the stores and asked the salesclerk. He made a phone call and took it off my hands. I hope the girl gets her wallet back. If I'd just left it in the cubicle the cleaning lady would have found it, but at the time I didn't know and was worried that someone nefarious would have taken it.
We got our groceries and came home. At home we drank some coffee and then decided to watch a dvd. Fumihiko wanted Rocky 4 but I'm afraid I said no. I suggested A Mighty Wind, but then we compromised on Tru Calling. I really like that show. I was also surprised because in one episode one of the actors was from Corner Gas. And, I saw a branch of the bank that I used to work for. Not my actual branch cause that was in Edmonton, but a bank. Cool huh?
And that was that. I had a nice but quiet day.
I'm off for the weekend. There won't be an update on Saturday, but hopefully there will be one on Sunday. Talk to you then. Night, and Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate it.
