Hot and sunny.
A good day. Nobody phoned me today so I didn't have to wake up early. That was nice in a way, but also bad as I didn't get up for a long, long time! I was out like a light.
I got up, drank coffee and also did my computer stuff for a while. After that I looked at the time and kind of freaked out! It was really getting late and if I wanted to go to the bank for real, I had to leave. I did leave. When I was going to my bike a bug hit me on the back of my neck and I freaked out! I screamed, but was okay. At the same time, I saw a really cool moth. It looked like leaf stuck to the wall, but I saw it fly there so I knew it wasn't. I took a picture of it but it wasn't very good. When I got closer to try again, it flew away. Sigh. The picture's on Flickr.
I went to the bank by bicycle. I made it with just a few minutes to spare. I paid my taxes for the next three months and then left. I went to the mall next.
At the mall, I went and had my brunch. I tried a new for me restaurant and it was okay. I ordered a tuna salad and cheese sausages yaki. Basically, sausages in a frypan covered with cheese. Both were pretty good. The waitress didn't really know what to make of me. She repeated both of my orders and even pointed to the pictures in the menu. Hey, I maybe don't understand a lot of Japanese, but Tuna Salada is hard to get wrong isn't it? While I ate I read some of my Stephanie Plum novel. I'm currently reading Eleven On Top. It's a hoot as always.
I hacked around the hundred yen shop and bought a glue stick and some correction fluid for the house, and a few things for my school. I got a couple of jumping ropes and some big soft dice. We often play dice games and my old dice was a cardboard box. These should be better.
I went to the Doutours downstairs and had a large cappuchino and read more. That was nice. I'd been thinking about a cappuchino all day. I limped around the grocery store but didn't buy anything. (The limping is due to something that happened yesterday. I came back to my apartment after my meeting and going up the stair I felt something pull in my ankle. It still hurts.)
I came home and spent quality time with my computer. Around 7:30 Fumihiko called me that he was coming home. He came home soon after. We went out for dinner to Gusto. I had a burger in Tomato sauce and a broccoli and octopus salad. It was good.
We bought groceries then came home. After a while I made popcorn and iced coffee and we watched ER. It was quite good tonight. I enjoyed it. Red Buttons reprised his role as Mr. Rubideaux. Abby was trying to get him not to have surgery, but everyone else said he should. Finally Carter (who had "killed" his wife) stepped in and talked to him.
And that's it. I've set the vcr to tape Alias, because I'm thinking I should go to bed soon. This heat is just knocking me out.
