Hot, mostly sunny, but with a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Go figure.
Mostly a good day. However, I woke up at 6 am in a terrible sweat. I got up, turned on the air conditioner and went back to sleep. Fumihiko went off to work and around 9:30 I got up. I did a couple of loads of laundry and then went back to bed for a nap. When I had gotten up my nose was just streaming. I don't know what it was, but after the nap I felt better and it seemed to stop.
I showered quite late, and then in the afternoon I went out to get my travellers cheques. I got to the post office and got a withdrawal slip ready for the clerk to use. I got up to the counter when my number was called, then I sat down. While I was sitting down, I kept seeing clerks motioning to me, but they weren't! They were always motioning to someone else. It was very confusing and embarrassing! The clerk who was helping me came back, asked me something which I didn't understand and then he had me sit down again. I was in the hot post office for about 20 minutes while he was on the phone, probably trying to find out what to do with the traveller's cheques. Finally he handed them over. Yay. Anyway, that's done, I'm glad to say.
When I came home, I had to get busy. I cooked my brunch, ate, did dishes and then headed off for my school. I didn't even turn on my computer!
At the school, I prepped for tomorrow's lessons and for this student next week. When the time for my student to come came, she didn't! She finally did, but she was late. I was getting worried and was thinking to call her to see if she had forgotten. Anyway, class was fine. Yay.
After, Fumihiko picked me up and we went to Cocos. It was nice, but we both fell on the drinkbar. It is just so hot right now that we are dying of thirst!
We came home and spent a nice quiet evening in. Yay.
Tomorrow, Fumihiko is off work, but I have a couple of classes. He's promising to take me to the doctor to see about my ankle. I tore something in it a couple of weeks ago, and it still hurts at times. Not all the time which is why I didn't go before, but sometimes.
And that's my day. Got to go. Night!
