Rainy most of the day.
This morning I woke up early because I had set my cell phone's alarm to make sure that Fumihiko would wake up in time to go to work. He was already up when it went off. I went back to sleep for a while and ended up having a really bizarre dream. I dreamt that I was in a James Bond story, and it was Daniel Craig's James Bond! I can't really remember what we were doing exactly, but we did lots of skulking around but there was no shooting. I was a bit sorry to wake up and leave the dream behind.
I had a strange morning. I was feeling a bit out of sorts. I spent some time on my computer, but not as much as usual. When I made lunch I watched last night's Doctor Who and enjoyed it. I like David Tennant a lot. He's cheeky and fun. I did really like Christopher Ecclestone though, so I'm not completely won over yet.
I headed off in the rain to my school around 2. It was rainy outside and raining harder than I expected. I didn't wear my raincape, but I did wear my wellies. My clothes got a bit wet, so I hung them up in the bathroom at my school.
I'd left most of my stuff prepared for my student the night before, so I just had to change and check everything. I taught my lesson when my student came and we had a good time. After she left, I stayed a while and worked on tomorrow's first lesson and did a bit of craft work. Tomorrow is my students' last class before the break so I'm planning to do a Christmas craft with them. I wanted to make sure that it would work though, so I did a practice run by myself today. It seemed to work quite well.
I read a magazine for a while, did a bit of book-keeping and then left for home. I was happy to find out that it had stopped raining. Yeah! I was almost home when I heard my cell phone music, but didn't stop to see what was up. I got home and discovered that Fumihiko was going to be late.
I did some computer stuff, then watched some of Poirot. I taped the show just in case hubby would come home in the middle of it. What do you know? He did! It was after 8:30 before he got home. Poor guy.
We went out to dinner to Marumatsu, a Japanese restaurant. It was okay. I quite enjoyed my meal, especially the chawanmushi and the tea I drank.
We came home and snuggled up on the couch to watch Desperate Housewives. It was good tonight. There was lots of kissing. Gabrielle kissed Lynette's husband and Lynette wasn't happy about it, Susan and her daughter went bowling with Mike and Zach, and the guy in the basement nearly got taken away. At the end of the show a body was found in a parked car. Hmm!
And that was it for my day. It was a bit quiet, but I did a lot at the school today, so that was good. I didn't do so much at home. Oh well. Tomorrow I have lunch plans and then two classes. I hope it's fun. Wish me luck!
