Sunny and nice, bit of a sprinkle in the evening.
I woke up this morning around 8 am, only to find that Fumihiko was still sleeping. Yikes. I woke him up and stayed up with him until he left. After he was gone I watched a bit of news, drank a cup of coffee and then went back to bed.
When I got up for real I showered and then did my computer stuff. After that I took a quick nap. I was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open. The nap seemed to help.
I cooked my lunch around 2, then did dishes and headed off to the mall. I was running late, but was pretty sure I could make it on time. I was there on time, and about 3 minutes late meeting Yuko. I bought my cappucino and then we had a great old gab. We talked about lots of things, Canada, Christmas, her future, the works. It was really nice to be able to talk to her again. Sadly, I had to leave at 5 to go to my school.
I biked straight from the mall to my school. It didn't take as long as I thought it would. Hurray for that. I'm so glad that the weather was nice though. At the school I got to work. I did a bit of cleaning and putting away of things. Yesterday when we visited the school, I basically just dumped off my stuff as I had promised Fumihiko I wouldn't take long there. The school was nice and toasty as I had set the heater yesterday to come on today. It did. My class tonight went well. We talked about prepositions for dates, and it was a useful class for the student. She also gave me a vote of confidence by deciding to stay on as my student.Yay.
I finished up after she left and came home via the grocery store. I bought myself a neck warmer there. I'd seen them for a while. It's like a scarf, but it's made of fleecy material. You can use it as a hat if you cinch the top, or as a face mask or a scarf. It's basically just a tube with a drawstring on one end, but I put it on and my neck stayed warm from the store to home. Yay me!
I had only been home for a few minutes and hadn't even started to relax yet, when Fumihiko arrived. After he came home I made dinner. We had coro-coro steak...little cubes of meat with sauces for dipping, plus caesar salad and fried chicken. It was all pretty good. I did the dishes afterwards and then went back to my computer.
Fumihiko decided that he would start doing my business stuff on his computer so he demanded my bank book. I told him that it wasn't a good idea to use just it as I have some bills that don't go through the account and I don't have all the details here. Everything is at the school where it won't get lost. He didn't listen to me. When I asked him how things were going he told me not to talk to him because it was too confusing for him to switch languages. Then 2 minutes later he asked me what an entry was in my bank book. Although I had a 60% certainty, I told him I didn't know and wouldn't be able to tell him without my papers. I wasn't happy at being told to not talk one minute, and then being interrogated the next. Not only that, but if I was wrong, then I don't know how easy it is to change the information once it's been inputted. I think he gave up at that point. Honestly, if he had told me that he wanted me to bring the books over I could have done that. I'm not a mind reader.
Anyway, I'm going to leave off this for the night. Tomorrow I have an afternoon class and I'm a bit tired. I'll probably talk to you tomorrow night. Night night!
