January 18, 2006 - Wednesday

Snowy and cold.

I had a good if quiet day. I stayed in all day. It wasn't too bad though. I did have a few things to watch on the tv so it wasn't boring.

I watched last night's movie The Muse, Charmed, and also Being John Malkovich. I am intrigued by that movie. It's quite extraordinary.

I did my laundry today, about 3 loads. I need to get into the habit of doing a little every few days rather than all of it at once. I sometimes don't have anything to wear. Yikes.

In the evening I cooked dinner. It wasn't too difficult though. Our menu...stir-fried beef and garlic, salad, and mixed veggies. Fumihiko added on some rice for his. It was good, but I got the timing of things wrong so the meat was cold by the time the veggies were cooked. Lest anyone think I prepared things myself, I didn't. I bought the salad last night and I used frozen veggies! The beef-garlic mixture was ready to go from the store too. Hmm. Tomorrow I'll likely be more adventurous as the plan is to make Tandori Chicken.

In the evening we watched an episode of Frasier and then I made popcorn. We watched Desperate Housewives together. I can't believe how much I like that show. Tonight, Gabrielle's mother in law died, Bree's son was taken off to a boot camp, and Lynette had a tangle with Marlee Matlin. Interesting show!

Now we're just chilling out. It's kind of nice. I'm hoping that we can keep this mood going.

I hope I can go out tomorrow, but I don't really need to. It's a pain to go out after a snow as the roads become all slippery again. They were so nice when I went out yesterday.

Anyway, that's it for me for today. Have a good evening! Night.
