Cool and a little rainy.
Today was an okay day. I overslept again, and hustled a bit when I got up. I showered and spent time on the net. In the afternoon I cooked my lunch and then headed off for the school.
My student and his mum arrived on time, and the boy and I got started. We had a pretty good lesson. After his mum picked him up, I prepared some things for tomorrow's classes and then went home.
At home hubby and I gabbed for a bit and I got started on supper. There wasn't too much to do, it's just that I decided to add a few vegetables so I had to prepare them. Tonight's lovely dinner was yakiniku of pork and lamb. We had tons of veggies too. Yellow zucchini, erengi mushrooms, eggplant, onion and bean sprouts. Everything was really good.
After dinner Fumihiko volunteer to do the dishes, so I let him. Unfortunately, at one point he put the chopping board into the drainer and it must have tipped over or something. It crashed to the floor, knocking over my cup which was sitting on the counter. Of course, it was smashed to pieces. It's a bit sad, but not that bad. I told him the truth, I was thinking to get a different cup anyway, so I'm not that upset. I am upset in the respect that it was a gift, although I honestly can't remember who from! Ooops.
We settled in for the evening and decided to watch a dvd. Tonight I made Fumihiko choose. He chose Brief Encounter which was wonderful. So full of unrequited passion and tears. The worst part was that Fumihiko's cough is really bad andhe kept coughing through the whole movie. He has subtitles to read, but when he coughed he drowned out the quiet dialogue. Sigh.
He's off to bed now and I should be soon too. I have to be at the school earlier tomorrow. I've got two lessons tomorrow, so I'll be a little busy. Well, only for 2 hours!
