June 1, 2006 - Thursday

Sunny and warm day.

An okay day. I didn't go out today, believe it or not. But, I'm ahead of myself again. Back up and try again.

Last night I went to bed at 1:00 am. That's the earliest I've gone to bed in weeks. It was great. I really needed the extra sleep. I slept quite well, had a bit of a hard time getting up when it was time, but nothing too bad.

In the morning I prepared the chicken for tandori, and email, the usual. In the afternoon after my brunch I did a lot of work on the computer. I made up more classroom English signs, and I downloaded some forms. I found a great site that helps you make grids. Perfect for making schedules. Yeah.

I found out that Fumihiko took tomorrow off. I wasn't entirely happy about that as I had planned to work at the school and get a lot of stuff done. However, I'm now hoping that he'll get a lot of stuff done for me while he's there. Hopefully it'll work out.

Just before I started to prepare dinner, we got a call from the Mum of one of my ex-students. She wants him to join my school, so it looks like I may actually have a student soon. Yah hoo! Hopefully the first of many.

Dinner tonight was tandori chicken breast, salad and a mix of asparagus and mushrooms. It was pretty good, even if I say so myself, and I do! For dessert we had some of Fumihiko's yogurt. It's good.

After Fumihiko did the dishes we watched Zoolander. I thought it was hysterical. Ben Stiller just isn't that good looking, but he sold it quite well anyway. I liked the cameos in the movie. Lots of famous people.

And that's about it for me for tonight. Tomorrow I have to be at the school for a while because I'm expecting a delivery there. What is it? Hmmm. Tell you tomorrow!

Gotta go, night.
