March 2, 2006 - Thursday

Cold with snowflakes that didn't stay.

Last night I very carefully wrote my entry, saving every few minutes and I didn't have any trouble with my computer. Today, it had been doing really well, so I didn't bother. As I was saving today's entry, the system crashed and I lost everything!

Today was an okay day. I got up, did a bit of laundry, but not all of it. I'm trying to get into the habit of doing a little every few days rather than all at once.

After my brunch and episode of The Lost World, I decided to go out. I got my bike and realized that the tires were a wee bit soft, so I pumped them up. I went off to a big store, fairly close by. I had a nice ride, except for the bike seat. It always takes me a few rides before my derriere gets used to the seat again. Ooooh. Ouch. I walked around the store for about an hour, but didn't buy anything. I know you don't believe me, but it's true.

I came home empty handed, then played on my computer for a while.

When Fumihiko came home we went out for dinner. We went to Moku-Moku and it was okay. Fumihiko had pasta and I had pork saute with mustard sauce. I also had soup and salad which was a bit of a mistake. For the last few times we've gone, the soup has been a nice clear one. Today I didn't ask first and it was cream of corn. Bleck and holy high carb Batman! I also think they've made their portions a little smaller too. Or their plates bigger.

After dinner we hacked around the hardware store. I bought batteries and coveted some videos and dvds, but didn't buy any of those. We were looking for office equipment, but they didn't have much.

At the grocery store I got some stuff for Saturday's dinner. Tomorrow, Fumihiko is going to make nabe. I also bought a few essential frozen things. Our local grocery store doesn't stock a lot of frozen foods.

We came home and watched Little Voice with Jane Horrocks, Blenda Blethryn and Michael Caine. I'd seen it before and found that this time it seemed really stagy. It was good though. Jane Horrocks has got quite an amazing voice. I have theRobbie Williams cd where she sings with him and then they goof off at the end, but she can really sing.

That's about it for me. I wrote my entry, lost it, and then, after restarting my computer, wrote it again. I think it's better this time.

Gotta go, night!
