Clear and nice day...as far as I know.
Today was an okay day. It had a strange start though. I woke up with Fumihiko asking what the buzzing was. I'd taken my cellphone to bed to use as an alarm clock. Someone sent me an email on it at 8:15 or so. It woke Fumihiko up, which was a good thing as he was supposed to be going to work. He got up and got ready in the superfast mode! I got up too to "help" if I could. I stayed up for a while after he left, had some coffee, and then went back to bed.
I got up much much later. I did some computer work for a while before I finally cooked my brunch. It was a very late one. I had my usual omelette and watched the Friends Wedding episodes. Yay! They were fun. I really enjoyed watching it today.
I had planned to go to the mall and do some shopping, but I just never got in gear. When Fumihiko came home, we went out. We had dinner at Mikawa Cocos then did a bit of window shopping. I didn't buy anything in the first store, but bought quite a bit in Jusco! I got stuff for my friend and my sister. Fumihiko gave me some money too this year. That was a nice surprise. He doesn't really get Christmas, it's not part of his culture, so usually, I pick out the presents, but this year he's been very helpful.
He went to have a massage just before 9 pm. He was supposed to finish at 9:25, but the woman must have given him extra time because he didn't finish until after 9:30. The problem with that was we had planned to see a movie at 9:40. I had two big bags of shopping that I had wanted to put in the car plus getting to the theatre at the other end of the mall. Fumihiko swore that we could do it, but I said no. I hate rushing to the theatre, I HATE missing the previews, and I wanted to buy popcorn and use the washroom before the show. That was just too much to try to do. I suggested that we come back on Wednesday night. Fumihiko has Thursday off so we can stay out late on Wednesday. Yay! He really wasn't happy with me, but I insisted. And, you know what? I'm glad that I did.
We came home via the grocery store. When we came home, Fumihiko cooked some bacon, I peel a couple of the persimmons that we got yesterday, and I made a bowl of popcorn. We settled in to watch a movie. Tonight we watched The Poseidon Adventure. It was great. It was so much better than the remake. Yes, the remake had good special effects, but you know, so did the original. The original had an amazing cast and characters that we cared about. The remake? Not so much!
Anyway, that was my day. It was okay. Fumihiko is snoozing on the couch and I think we should head off to bed soon. I'm pretty tired, and I have a dentist's appointment tomorrow. I hope this visit doesn't hurt! Wish me luck.
