Drizzly in the early part of the day, clear and cool in the evening.
Today was okay. I got up when I was supposed to and took my shower. After that I did a bit of computer stuff before having my brunch. After brunch I washed the dishes and headed out to my school.
My lessons went very well today. Yay! The mother of one student gave me a box of kaki--persimmons. I love persimmons, but I rarely eat fruit these days. I put it in my closet at school because I didn't have anywhere else to put it. After classes, I put the box next to my door, and went home.
When Fumihiko came home, he changed and we went out to pick up the kaki. Then we had a light dinner. I hadn't eaten for 6 hours so it was definitely time!
We came home, dropped off the fruit and then headed off to Shimi's restaurant. She'd invited us to come for a small party. When we got there I was surprised to see Chris there. I knew Yumiko, his wife, was coming but I didn't know about him. One of my students was there, and some of Shimi's friends. We had a good time, but Fumihiko was doing a lot of drinking and he has to work tomorrow. Around 12:30, I said that we should leave, so we did. It was a bit sad, but Fumihiko has an early start. He says he'll be fine, but I still worry. 7:30 comes early!
We walked home. It was a bit nice, the stars were out and the sky was clear, but it was cold. My knee acted up a bit. Sitting on tatami mats for a few hours didn't help. Fumihiko was limping too, but he said he was okay.
When we came home, I made some decafe coffee and jumped onto my computer. Fumihiko napped on the couch and then took a bath. He's in bed now. I hope he's okay tomorrow.
And that was my day. At the moment I'm "chatting" with my friend about the Edmonton Art Gallery and thinking about making more coffee. I probably won't as I should get off to bed quite soon. I would like to go shopping tomorrow if I get in gear early enough!
Got to go...night!
