Sunny and warm.
I'm a creature of habit. For the last 8 or 9 years that I've been in Japan I've always used Vidal Sassoon shampoo on my hair, but today, I tried something new. I used something I got in Canada. It's Pantene Pro-V Silver Expressions. It's a shampoo made for people with silver to grey hair. I was a bit dubious when I squeezed some onto my palm, the shampoo was purple, and the conditioner was lilac. Scary. Would it dye my hair? No, it didn't. It's supposed to strip away any film that's on my hair and let the silver really shine, and you know what? It does! Even after putting mousse on my hair today it feels softer and seems to shine more. Hey, I could get used to this. I like my silvery grey hair, so why not make it even nicer?
In other news, I slept well last night. The cold medicine that I took worked quite well, but I had trouble getting up in the morning. I wanted to stay in bed. I did stay in quite late, but not very late!
I took other cold medicine during the day. I'd had enough of runny noses and feeling bad, so I broke out some more stuff. It worked okay. I'm hoping it'll work better tomorrow.
I had a class to teach today and it went well. We did a mixture of things as it was the end of the first four units.
During the day, Fumihiko had emailed me to tell me his days off. He told me in black and white that they were the 23rd and 24 of September. That would be this Saturday and Sunday. Then, when we get home, he told me that his days off are Sunday and Monday, the 24th and 25th of September. Huh? Is it any wonder that I'm constantly confused about his days off? He was surprised when he checked the email he sent.
He wasn't feeling well tonight so he's taken some aspirin and has gone off to bed. I should take some of my cold medicine soon and then I'll go to bed too.
Tomorrow I'll have 2 lessons at my school. Hopefully they'll be okay.
That's about it for me. Not too interesting today, but then again, I'm still feeling under the weather.
Got to go! Night night.
