Rainy and cloudy, then clearing in the later part of the day.
Today was okay. I was in bed by midnight again last night, or soon after. That meant I woke up before my alarm this morning. That was nice. I got up and was soon at my computer, checking email and playing games.
I didn't have a stressful day at home or anything. I ate lunch in the afternoon and watched Doctor Who. Fun! I'm am so enjoying it.
Around 5 I went off to my school then got busy. Today I vacuumed, then prepped a class and checked a couple of others. I didn't stop. Class went well today, except we finished a little late as we spent a lot of time correcting homework.
I came home to find a hubby that was very tired. He was already in his pajamas! He was watching a very loud Steve McQueen movie, but I needed his help with dinner. He was pretty good. When it was time he cooked the pork. Today he'd made Garlic pork. The apartment now has the delightful aroma of garlic. Yum. I cooked some frozen asparagus and made tea. I'd bought two salads for tonight's dinner, which were also good. Our tea was "cannelle" which is cinnamon really. It tasted as good as it smelled. Sometimes that doesn't happen! It wasn't a strong cinnamon taste, but just a nice one.
After the movie finished, Doctor Who came on. I watched it "live" for a change. It was quite funny and hokey, in that delightful British sci-fi way. I don't know what it is about British sci-fi, but it usually is a lot of fun, even if the effects are terrible. Of course everyone knows about Doctor Who, but there was also Blake's 7 (sob) and Starcops (double sob). I loved them all.
That's pretty much it for the evening. Oh, just a few more things. It's Fumihiko's job to take out the garbage. Why? Because I, the Lady Stellastarstruck, can't be bothered with such trifling details before 9:00 am. However, I, the Lady Stellastarstruck do put the garbage in the hallway for him to just grab and go in the morning. I also change the garbage bags in the can and generally empty the assorted garbages around the house. This morning there were two bags to take out. One was full of "clean" garbage from my school....just paper; the other was full of smelly kitchen stuff...coffee grinds, egg shells etc. For some reason hubby took out only one bag. Guess, just guess which one he didn't take out??? Of course, the smelly stinky one. It's stuck in my hallway until Monday. Yay.
And, in Tsuruoka news, there's going to be a new McDonalds. It's going to be near the new grocery store that we go to. It's on my way to the school basically. I'm a little happy and a little afraid. I do like to go to McDonalds occasionally for salads and bunless burgers, but I don't want it to be that convenient, or that close. It's too bad it wasn't a Mosburger. I like them! They serve bunless burgers for real. They come wrapped in a lettuce leaf. Yum.
That's my daily update. I have to go soon and sort out the plastic garbage for hubby. It's the pink gomibag tomorrow. Night!
