A little warmer, rainy.
Well, today was a national holiday and I spent it with my hubby. Same old thing. It was a good day actually.
I went to bed before him last night and honestly was so asleep when he came to bed that I didn't wake up. That NEVER happens!(Mostly because he's so noisy that he wakes me up.) He still got up before me. He made coffee which was nice, but was sitting in the dark in the living room with no heater on. I did a bathroom run and flicked on the lights and tried the heater too, but it was empty. After that, I went back to bed for a bit longer and slept more.
When I got up we spent some time on our computers and then went out for lunch to Jiro. I had chicken, which was good, but very very hot. Fumihiko had pasta. It was all good. After lunch we dropped off my bike at the bike shop (broken spoke, back wheel) and went to Marica. Fumihiko wanted to get a hair cut. He's been growing his hair since last year and I loved it. It wasn't that horrible bristle cut that he usually gets...the one that makes him look like a toilet brush. Anyway, I wanted to wander around the mall a little. He came to my favourite store with me, and then he went off to get his hair done.
I hacked around the hundred yen shop and found a few things that I wanted, for me or the school. I was looking at my watch and thinking that Fumihiko must be just about done, when he appeared right in front of me. His hair looked okay. They'd combed it rather stylishly, but it wasn't as short as usual. Yay.
After this, Fumihiko dropped me off at home, and he went to visit his mother. She'd asked him to get her some kerosene and take her shopping. I was glad that he was able to help her out. It's good for him (and her).
When he came home we did more computer stuff. He was translating a letter to one of my student's Mum, and then I had to print it. I sealed it all up in the envelope.
We were getting hungry by 8:00 pm so we went out for dinner. Fumihiko suggested a place that we'd never gone before, Hana. I've heard of it, it's a Japanese restaurant with a good reputation. It was very nice. We had quite a nice meal. Fumihiko had fish (gindara) and I had tonkatsu with cheese in it. Both dishes were really good.
We popped by my school to set the heater for tomorrow, and then went grocery shopping. We're going to eat at home for the next two days. Yay. The bad thing is that I'm cooking! Actually I don't mind very much.
Tonight was the last episode of the season of Desperate Housewives so of course we watched it. It was cool! And scary. And, I can't (but I will) wait until next season to see what's going to happen. Let's see. Spoilers ahead if you haven't watched it yet. Be warned! Today, Bree broke out of the Mental Institution and saved her daughter. Susan's dentist friend met Mike and then for some reason, hit him with his car. Lynette and Tom met with the mother of his child and found out that she's going to move to be closer to them...very much closer. And Gabrielle found out that Carlos and the maid were having an affair, so she kicked out Carlos, and kept the maid! Betty's son was killed by police as he tried to threaten Bree. Zach seems determined to cut Paul out of his life, now that he's rich from his grandfather's money. Good show.
And that was my day. Hubby went to bed a while ago, and I'm going to go soon too. I'm quite tired. It was a good day. Hurray for that!
Night.
