We arrived back tonight and I set up my lovely new MacBook. It was remarkably easy. I've been trying to get to know this new computer. I'll hopefully make a few changes to this page and in the way I use my computer.
My last night that I was able to update, I wrote about an ominous noise coming from my computer. Well, the next day, it stopped working completely. Thankfully I had backed up my address book, which was the most important thing for me. However, any email addresses that I just received, I probably didn't have backed up, so if you think you're amongst them, please drop me a line.
The last week without a computer has been interesting. I was able to borrow my husband's for a bit, but it was difficult to use. His system is in Japanese, which made it difficult for me.
Anyway, today has been a rather long day. We drove back to Tsuruoka from Sendai, and made a big detour through Yamagata city. We got up early and it's now quite late.
I'm going to sign off now, but I'll be back tomorrow night most likely. Take care!
